نقد و بررسی دیدگاه عباس اقبال ‌دربارۀ جاده ابریشم در دورۀ مغول

محققان متعددی دربارۀ وضعیت جاده ابریشم در عصر مغول تحقیق کرده‌اند؛ هرکدام به‌زعم خود گاهی با استناد و بعضاً با پیش‌داوری و بر اساس گرایش‌ها و نگرش‌هایی به بررسی وضعیت جاده ابریشم در این دوران پرداخته‌اند. بی‌تردید بررسی مقایسه‌ای و تطبیقی آرای این محققان و سنجش آن با اسناد و مدارک دست‌اول و شواهد تاریخی می‌تواند در شناخت بهتر اوضاع جاده ابریشم و مسیرهای تجاری در دوران مغول اهمیّت زیادی داشته باشد. یکی از محققان دوره مغول عباس اقبال است، بدون تردید بررسی رویکرد ایشان نسبت به وضعیت مسیرهای جاده ابریشم در عصر مغول به‌عنوان موضوعی که تاکنون بدان پرداخته نشده، می‌تواند به شناسایی بهتر ماهیت اوضاع حاکم بر جاده ابریشم در این دوره کمک کنند. براین‌اساس پژوهش حاضر ضمن مقایسه و ارزیابی دیدگاه‌‍های عباس اقبال با تحقیقات جدید اعم از چپی - روسی، غربی و منطقه‌ای دربارۀ وضعیت جاده ابریشم در دورۀ مغول به تحلیل انتقادی نظرات ایشان در مورد جایگاه جاده ابریشم در این دوره می‌پردازد. روش تحقیق در این پژوهش بر پایۀ نقد و مقایسه خواهد بود.

review of abbas eqbal's perspective on the silk road network in the mongol period

several researchers have investigated the silk road's status during the mongol empire, each of which, in their own way, has occasionally criticized prejudicially on the basis of their respective vantage points and attitudes. undoubtedly, a comparative and contrastive study of the opinions of these researchers as well as their assessment employing primary sources and historical evidence could be of paramount importance in understanding the silk road's status during the mongol era. one of the eminent historians pursuing the mongol era is rené eqbal. an examination of his approach to the status of the silk road in the mongol era as a topic which has not yet been argued upon can admittedly give rise to a better identification of the silk road's prominence in this period. accordingly, not only does the current study compare and evaluate eqbal 's standpoints with new investigations regarding the silk road's status during the mongol period, but it also critically analyzes his comments on the status of the silk road network in this era. the research method implemented in this study is based on review and comparison.
