Abstract
the scarcity of labeled structured data is one of the fundamental challenges in machine learning applications across industrial, medical, and economic domains. manual labeling of such data is a time-consuming and costly process, and existing methods often lack sufficient accuracy for sensitive applications. this research, aiming to provide an efficient solution to this challenge, has designed and implemented the bardas system as a semi-automated architecture for structured data labeling. the bardas system combines the capabilities of large language models, clustering and visualization techniques, and purposeful human interaction, organizing the labeling process into three layers: human understanding, labeling, and human review. in this architecture, candidate samples for manual labeling are first identified using statistical analysis and data visualization. then, leveraging prompt engineering and few-shot learning, human knowledge is transferred to language models, and automated labeling is performed at scale. finally, the ability to review and correct labels by users ensures final quality. evaluation results demonstrate that the bardas system achieves 96% accuracy in iris dataset with minimal human intervention (only 9 to 16 candidate samples) and without the need for model training or complex infrastructure, reaching 100% accuracy with brief human review. compared to recent works methods such as slamvis and recom, bardas delivers competitive performance despite using significantly fewer learning resources, reducing labeling time. by establishing an balance between accuracy, speed, cost, and ease of use, this system provides an innovative and practical solution for generating training datasets in specialized domains.
