چکیده    This study investigates the structural sizing of a wing-in-ground (wig) craft utilizing rules and regulations from two prominent classification societies: det norske veritas (dnv) and lloyd’s register (lr). a typical craft was chosen, and dimensions for hull plating, stiffeners, and beams were computed in accordance with both regulatory frameworks.the findings indicate that lr typically recommends more conservative dimensions than dnv, especially for wing structures and longitudinal beams, resulting in heavier designs. to reconcile safety and efficiency, dnv standards were implemented where appropriate, while lr values were utilized in crucial regions such as the stern bottom and wing spars.the comparison indicates that existing high-speed craft regulations can be modified for wig craft; however, it also underscores the lack of specific restrictions. the results offer practical direction for designers to create safe, efficient, and lightweight structures, emphasizing the necessity for future regulatory development tailored to wig craft.
