Abstract
the interdependence of the physical and cyber layers, along with the risks of equipment failures and cyberattacks, pose significant challenges to the reliability of cyber–physical microgrids under contemporary operating conditions. voltage violations and load shortages in relation to demand can result from a series of poor control decisions caused by covert data manipulation, such as false data injection (fdi) attacks, in islanded mode. this paper suggests a data-driven framework that combines the operator s operational response with detection based on deep learning. fdi attacks are detected in real time by deep learning models that have been trained on time-series data. the outputs of these models are then fed into a mitigation mechanism that lessens the impact of attacks while taking into account small delays and the efficacy of actions.standard reliability indices such as asai, saifi, saidi, expected energy not supplied (eens), and loss of load expectation (lole) are used in the islanded mode evaluation. the findings demonstrate that prompt detection and post-detection intervention improve overall availability while reducing outage frequency, duration, and unserved energy.the results show that this strategy is both feasible and expandable for microgrid operators without depending on comprehensive structural data.
