designing a multilevel model of factors affecting green supply chain management in the steel industry of yazd province using interpretive structural modeling

Authors
Abstract    designing a multi-level model of factors affecting green supply chain management in the steel industry of yazd province using interpretive structural modeling abstract: the steel industry, as one of the energy-intensive and polluting industries, requires the adoption of innovative approaches to move towards sustainable development and green supply chain. the present research aims to design a multi-level model of factors affecting green supply chain management (gscm) in the steel industry of yazd province, utilizing the interpretive structural modeling (ism) method. in terms of purpose, this study is applied, and regarding method, it is qualitative-analytical. research data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 8 experts in the field of supply chain and the steel industry of yazd province. the experts were selected using snowball sampling. after extracting the key factors affecting the green supply chain, the relationships between them were modeled and analyzed using the ism technique. the results indicated that factors such as top management commitment, government regulatory policies, organizational culture, employee empowerment, and collaboration with green suppliers are positioned at different levels of the model and play distinct roles in the successful implementation of gscm. micmac analysis reveals that top management commitment and a sustainable organizational culture, as high-influence key drivers, have the greatest impact on the system. linking factors, such as technological infrastructure and legal requirements, are sensitive points of the system that require careful management, while dependent factors like waste management are primarily influenced by other factors. this hierarchy underscores the necessity of focusing on the main drivers for the effective improvement of the system.
