چکیده    The use of herbal medicines in the nutrition of dairy animals, especially in increasing milk production and improving milk quality, has created a significant transformation in the livestock industry. research shows that herbs such as black cumin, turmeric and chamomile increase milk production by up to 50% by stimulating the secretion of milk-producing hormones, increasing nutrient absorption and modulating the rumen microbiome. these natural compounds also improve livestock health by reducing oxidative stress and inflammation and prevent production losses caused by environmental stresses.on the other hand, these herbs, by changing the metabolism of fats, increase beneficial fatty acids such as cla and omega-3 in milk and at the same time reduce cholesterol levels. these changes turn milk into a functional product with health-promoting properties. also, the antimicrobial properties of herbs such as garlic and curcumin reduce the prevalence of mastitis and improve milk quality in terms of somatic cells.despite the proven benefits, challenges such as determining the exact dosage and possible interactions require further research. the use of this natural solution could simultaneously increase productivity and meet the global demand for healthy and natural milk.
