چکیده

The cultivation, processing, and nutritional profile of the cannabis plant are intrinsically linked to its veterinary applications. cultivation practices (e.g., organic farming, specific harvesting times) and extraction methods (e.g., co2 vs. ethanol) directly influence the purity, potency, and final cannabinoid profile of hemp-derived products, which is critical for ensuring consistent and safe dosing in animals. furthermore, the plant s nutritional value, particularly from hemp seed meal which is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, proteins, and fiber, supports animal health by improving skin/coat condition and providing a sustainable protein source in feed, thereby connecting agronomic practices directly to veterinary nutraceuticals and therapeutics (vaughn et al., 2020). cannabis sativa l. is a one-year plant from the hemp family and important in industry, pharmaceutical-medicine and agriculture (yep et al., 2019). cannabis is very complex in terms of phytochemical compounds and more than 480 different chemical compounds have been identified (elsohly et al., 2005). plants need enough nutrients in the right proportions to grow. nitrogen is absorbed in the form of no3- or nh4+, and the total absorbed n is the combination of these two forms. so, the ratio of these two is important in plants and affects it (zuk-golaszewska et al., 2018). in this research, the effect of nh4+:no3- ratios including 20:80, 40:60 and 60:40 with full and half nutrient concentration with a randomized complete block experimental design on the phytochemical properties including chlorophyll a and b as well as its antioxidant activity investigated. according to the results, the highest amount of chlorophyll a in the ratio was 20:80 in half nutrient concentration and, the chlorophyll b in the ratio was 20:80 in full-ionic strength. the highest antioxidant activity of both leaves and flowers was in the ratio of 60:40 in half nutrient concentration the highest antioxidant activity of both leaves and flowers was in the ratio of 60:40 in half nutrient concentration and the highest antioxidant activity in the root was in the ratio of 20:80 in full nutrient concentration.
