سنجش توانایی مهارت آماری، سواد و درک مفهومی، نگرش و علاقه دانشجومعلمان کارشناسی آموزش شیمی نسبت به درس آمار

این پژوهش به بررسی توانایی مهارت‌های آماری، سواد و درک مفهومی آمار و علاقه و نگرش نسبت به آمار در میان دانشجومعلمان رشته آموزش شیمی می‌پردازد. این مطالعه از نوع توصیفی-پیمایشی با رویکرد کمی و از نظر هدف کاربردی است. نمونه آماری شامل 45 دانشجو معلم رشته آموزش شیمی دانشگاه فرهنگیان مرکز آموزش عالی شهید شرافت تهران می‌باشد. گردآوری اطلاعات با استفاده از پرسشنامه محقق ساخته با 20 گویه و سه خرده مقیاس ذکر شده انجام شده است. روایی محتوایی پرسشنامه توسط متخصصان تایید و ضریب آلفای کرونباخ برابر 9/0 نشان دهنده پایایی بالای سوالات پرسشنامه است. هم‌چنین ضریب آلفای کرونباخ سوالات هریک از سه خرده مقیاس توانایی مهارت‌های آماری، سواد و درک مفهومی آمار و علاقه و نگرش نسبت به آمار به ترتیب 8/0، 8/0 و 7/0 بوده است. به عبارت دیگر، سوالات پرسشنامه به خوبی با یکدیگر همبستگی داشته و می‌توان به نتایج حاصل از آن‌ها اطمینان داشت. نرمال بودن داده‌ها بررسی و برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها از آمار توصیفی شامل میانگین و انحراف معیار و آمار استنباطی شامل آزمون t زوجی و آزمون همبستگی پیرسون استفاده شد. نتایج این مطالعه نشان می‌دهد که با توجه به علاقه و نگرش مثبت دانشجومعلمان رشته آموزش شیمی، می‌بایست بر روی افزایش میزان مهارت توانایی و متعاقبا بهبود کیفی سواد درک مفهومی آنان از آمار توجه بیشتری صورت پذیرد. در واقع آموزش مهارت‌های تخصصی و کاربردی آمار در بهبود درک مفهومی آمار و ارتقای علاقه دانشجو معلمان رشته آموزش شیمی نقش مهمی را ایفا می‌کند.

assessment of “statistical skills”, “statistical literacy and conceptual understanding”, and “attitudes and interest” of undergraduate chemistry education students toward the statistics course

this study examines statistical skills, conceptual understanding of statistics literacy, andinterest and attitudes toward statistics among chemistry education undergraduatestudents. the research employed a descriptive-survey design with a quantitativeapproach and is applied in nature. the statistical sample comprised 45 chemistryeducation undergraduate students at shahid sharafat higher education center,farhangian university, tehran. data were collected using a researcher-developedquestionnaire with 20 items across the three aforementioned subscales. the contentvalidity of the questionnaire was confirmed by experts, and a cronbach’s alphacoefficient of 0.90 indicated high reliability of the questionnaire items. furthermore, thecronbach’s alpha coefficients for each of the three subscales “statistical skills”,“statistics literacy and conceptual understanding”, and “interest and attitudes towardstatistics” were 0.80, 0.80, and 0.70, respectively. in other words, the questionnaireitems demonstrated good internal consistency, and the results can be considered reliable.the normality of the data was tested, and data analysis was performed using descriptivestatistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (paired t-test andpearson correlation). the findings suggest that, given the chemistry educationundergraduate students’ positive interest and attitudes, greater emphasis should beplaced on enhancing their statistical skills and, consequently, improving theirconceptual understanding of statistics. in fact, teaching specialized and appliedstatistical skills plays a significant role in improving students’ conceptual understandingof statistics and in fostering their interest in the subject.
