Calculation of reservoir characteristics is considered one of the most important tasks in petroleum engineering. among reservoir characteristics estimating scal properties are really crucial as it has enormous effect on multi-phase flow of fluids in reservoir. this research provides a comprehensive methodology for analyzing capillary pressure data considering all situations may occur during scal data analysis. the main strategy is to exploit measured scal data from the field under study. in situations where special core analysis (scal) data is not available for a specific rock type, two methods of scal data from a nearby field and correlations are proposed to provide representative scal data. scal data in the reservoir b of the field a do not cover all defined six rock types. for those rock types in the b reservoir with scal data from the field a, analyses are conducted based on rock typing and reservoir layering. in situations where scal data is not available for a specific rock type, two methods of scal data from nearby field c and correlations are employed to provide representative scal data. however, due to the mismatch between petrophysical evaluations of the wells of fields a and c, it is preferred not to use scal information from field c in this study.
