Abstract
the 6e instructional design model, with its emphasis on active, experiential, and problem-based learning,is a new framework for teaching experimental science. using six key stages including “engagement,”“exploration,” “explanation,” “engineering,” “enrichment,” and “evaluation,” this model helps teachersconvey scientific concepts to students in a deep, practical, and engaging way. in teaching physical sciencetopics such as force, energy, electricity, and waves, using this model allows students to not only memorizethe material, but also experience it through experimentation, observation, and analysis and apply it in realworld situations. the “engineering” and “enrichment” stages in this model increase learning motivation bycreating opportunities for designing, building, and developing ideas, and pave the way for developingcreative thinking and problem-solving skills. also, new technologies such as virtual reality, simulatedlaboratories, and blended learning have enabled the development and expansion of this model, making itan effective tool for interdisciplinary education. this article, by examining the structure of the 6einstructional design model and analyzing its application in experimental science education, emphasizes itsrole in transforming teaching methods and preparing students to face future scientific challenges.
