Abstract
this study aimed to investigate the impact of using digital simulators and interactive software on teaching physics concepts. considering technological advancements and the need for active and participatory learning in physics classrooms, employing interactive tools and simulators can enhance students’ understanding of complex concepts, problem-solving skills, and learning motivation. this quantitative and descriptive study included 61 active teachers in secondary schools as the research population. data were collected using standardized questionnaires and analyzed with spss software. descriptive analysis revealed that students’ average problem-solving ability was 3.45, understanding of physics concepts 3.38, participation in activities 3.50, and interest and motivation in learning 3.42. correlation analysis indicated a positive and moderate relationship between the use of simulators and students’ learning outcomes and motivation. these findings suggest that digital simulators and interactive software can provide an effective and active learning experience; however, their full impact is influenced by environmental constraints, teacher skills, and individual differences among students. therefore, purposeful and well-planned use of digital simulators, combined with teacher training in technology skills, can improve students’ understanding of physics concepts and increase their motivation and engagement in learning.
