endless journey in space: designing a learning unit with an overview of the stages of human exploration from the moon to the end of the visible universe

Authors
Abstract    this study analyzes humanity s achievements in three realms of cosmic exploration: physical presence in earth and lunar orbit, the development of interstellar and planetary probes, and the observation of electromagnetic radiation from the depths of the cosmos. utilizing data from space missions and astronomical observations, the present research demonstrates that although human physical presence is confined to the inner solar system, advanced probes have enabled us to penetrate the boundaries of interstellar space. in this regard, voyager 1, as the farthest human-made object, studies interstellar space from a distance of 24 billion kilometers from earth. on the other hand, through the analysis of cosmic background radiation and distant galaxies, we have succeeded in studying the universe at a distance of 13.8 billion light-years. space technologies are advancing at an exponential pace. statistical comparisons of data received from various probes indicate a significant evolutionary trend in the precision and depth of space explorations. the results of this research reveal that the development of space technologies has continuously expanded the boundaries of human knowledge about the cosmos and opened new horizons for future explorations. furthermore, it has been determined that these three exploratory domains function complementarily, collectively providing a comprehensive understanding of the universe. quantitative analyses show that the growth rate of space technologies in the last two decades has tripled compared to the entire history of space exploration.
