this paper introduces and analyzes three prominent ai-powered platforms in online education:coursera, cornerstone ondemand, and javalab. while coursera and cornerstone ondemand represent broader platforms for general/professional education and organizational hr development respectively, javalab is presented as a specialized environment for hands-on science and programming education. the implementation, advantages, challenges, and limitations of each platform are elaborated, followed by a comparative analysis. coursera leverages ai to personalize learning pathways using content from accredited institutions. cornerstone ondemand, as an enterprise ai-based learning management system (lms), optimizes training and employee development processes. javalab utilizes ai to power interactive virtual labs and coding environments, providing simulated practical experiences and intelligent feedback in science and computer science education. the study concludes that each platform offers unique capabilities tailored to specific educational audiences and objectives, and they can function complementarily within a modern educational ecosystem.
