Abstract
this article introduces and analyzes five physics simulation software tools: phet, javalab, ophysics, crocodile physics, and interactive physics. the main objective of the research is to investigate the role of these tools in promoting physics education and compensating for the lack of laboratory facilities in schools. the research method is descriptive-analytical, and the software has been evaluated based on criteria such as ease of use, educational capabilities, customization ability, accessibility, and limitations. the results show that online platforms such as phet and javalab, with their simple and free user interface, are highly suitable for teaching basic concepts and facilitating group and collaborative learning. on the other hand, desktop software such as crocodile physics and interactive physics also provides the possibility of designing specific and research-oriented experiments. ophysics, with its focus on the precise relationship between mathematical equations and physical phenomena, holds a unique position in teaching analytical concepts. overall, the use of these simulators can enhance students motivation to learn and foster a deeper understanding of scientific concepts. recommendations for teachers and schools on how to effectively utilize these tools are also provided.
