سبزیکاری حکم‌آباد؛ گنجینه‌ی خاک، هویت، و پایداری شهری در تبریز

منطقه تاریخی حکم‌آباد در غرب تبریز با پیشینه‌ای هزارساله، نمونه‌ای بی‌نظیر از کشاورزی پایدار شهری در ایران محسوب می‌شود. این پژوهش با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی و با تکیه بر مطالعات میدانی، اسناد تاریخی و داده‌های علمی، به بررسی نظام کشاورزی سنتی این منطقه می‌پردازد. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد حکم‌آباد با شبکه قنات‌های تاریخی، خاک بسیار غنی و روش‌های ارگانیک، نه تنها نقش حیاتی در تامین امنیت غذایی تبریز داشته، بلکه نمونه‌ای موفق از تعامل انسان با محیط زیست شهری است. این مقاله با معرفی مفهوم «میراث زنده خاک»، ضرورت حفاظت از این سرمایه ملی در برابر تهدیدهایی مانند تغییر کاربری را مورد تاکید قرار داده و راهکارهای عملی برای صیانت از آن ارائه می‌دهد.

hekmatabad greening: preserving soil, cultural identity, and urban sustainability in tabriz

the historic district of hokmabad, in western tabriz, is a remarkable example of thousand-year-old sustainable urban agriculture in iran. this study uses a descriptive-analytical approach, combining field observations, historical records, and scientific data to explore the region’s traditional farming system. our findings show that hokmabad – supported by its ancient qanat network, exceptionally fertile soil, and organic farming methods – has played a key role in local food security and stands as a successful model of harmony between people and the urban environment. by introducing the idea of “living soil heritage,” we highlight the urgent need to protect this national treasure from threats like land-use conversion, and offer practical steps to preserve it for the future.
