نقش پیشگویی های ظهور شاه‌اسماعیل در مشروعیت‌بخشی به حکومت صفوی

درباره تشکیل حکومتی شیعی، در برخی منابع، اخباری پیشگویانه از جانب یکی از احفاد شیخ ‌صفی الدین اردبیلی ذکر شده است. فارغ از انگیزه های پیشگویان یا ناشرانِ آنها، این نویدها موجب استحکام پایه های مشروعیت و مقبولیت حکومت صفوی گردید. به دلیل اینکه اخبار غیبی غالباً مبنایی مذهبی داشته‌اند، این نوع بشارت‌ها ناخواسته تبدیل به یکی از عواملی شدند که چهره ای معنوی و مشروع به این حکومت بخشیده اند. این پژوهش، بدون اینکه قصد راستی آزمایی یا بررسی اعتبار تاریخی یا رجالی این روایات پیشگویانه را داشته باشد، با نگاهی تحلیلی، صرفاً تاثیر این اخبار بر جایگاه سیاسی مذهبی حکومت صفوی را بررسی می‌کند. به نظر می‌رسد اخبار ظهور شاه‌اسماعیل صفوی به‌عنوان احیاگر تشیع و ذکر گزارش هایی درباره اتصال حکومت صفوی به حکومت مهدوی، نقش موثری در استقبال و حمایت از شاه‌اسماعیل و همچنین صفویه گرایی مردم ایران در آن دوره و حتی ادوار پس از سقوط آنها داشته است. این تحقیق با استفاده از داده‌های کتابخانه‌ای و به روش توصیفی- تحلیلی، به بررسی این موضوع می‌پردازد.

the role of prophecies concerning the rise of shah isma'il in the legitimation of the safavid rule

in some historical sources, prophetic reports attributed to one of the descendants of sheykh ṣafī al-dīn ardebīlī are mentioned regarding the formation of a shiite government. regardless of the motives of those who articulated or disseminated these prophecies, such predictions contributed significantly to reinforcing the foundations of legitimacy and public acceptance of the safavid state. given that eschatological and supernatural reports were generally grounded in religious belief, these prophetic narratives inadvertently became one of the factors that gave this government a spiritual and legitimate image. without seeking to verify the authenticity or historical and biographical credibility of these prophetic accounts, this study adopts an analytical perspective to examine their impact on the politico-religious status of the safavid regime. it seems that portrayals of shah isma'il safavi as a reviver of shiʿism, along with reports linking the safavid state to the mahdist government, played a significant role in fostering popular reception and support for shah isma'il, as well as in promoting safavid-oriented loyalties among the iranian population during the safavid period and even after the dynasty's collapse. this research employs library-based data and a descriptive–analytical method to explore the role of such prophetic narratives in the legitimation of safavid rule.
