نقش فعالیتهای سپاه دانش در گسترش آموزش و توسعه عمران روستاها

تحولات دهه چهل ایران در حوزه‌های مختلف از جمله آموزش‌وپرورش مبتنی بر اصول انقلاب سفید بود. در این راستا با تشکیل سپاه دانش براساس اصل ششم اصول انقلاب سفید، گسترش سوادآموزی در روستاهای کشور در دستور کار مشترک وزارت فرهنگ و جنگ قرار گرفت. طبق این اصل، افراد دیپلمه می‌توانستند خدمت سربازی و نظام وظیفه خود را  بعد از یک دوره کوتاه آموزش نظامی و روش تدریس، در روستاها به آموزش و سوادآموزی روستاییان بپردازند. البته بعد از مدتی کوتاه حوزه ماموریتی سپاهیان دانش گسترش یافت و فعالیت‌های عمرانی در روستاها را نیز شامل شد. به اقتضای این ماموریت‌ها، مراکز و نهادهای چندی برای تقویت سپاهیان دانش اعم از علمی، نظاری، تدارکاتی و ... تاسیس شد. این مقاله با بهره‌برداری از منابع کتابخانه‌ای با محوریت اسناد، به‌ویژه صورت‌ مذاکرات و مصوبات شورای‌عالی فرهنگ/ آموزش‌وپرورش و به روش توصیفی تحلیلی حاکی است که سپاهیان دانش در طی یک‌دهه‌ونیم فعالیت خود در روستاهای کشور موفق شدند نه‌تنها در سوادآموزی روستاییان، بلکه در عرصه تحولات فرهنگی، اجتماعی و حتی اقتصادی دستاوردهای مفیدی داشته باشند
