جایگاه نفت در تحول هویتی جزیره خارک

خارک، یکی از جزایر بزرگ در منتهی‌الیه خلیج ‌فارس است که هرچند به‌دلیل نداشتن خاک کافی فاقد استعداد کشاورزی است، اما منابع مختصر آب شیرین، سواحل عمیق و نزدیکی به درگاه ورودی دهانه اروندرود در طول تاریخ اهمیت ویژه‌ای به آن داده است. ساکنان محدود این جزیره با صیادی، کشاورزی مختصر و خدمات‌رسانی به کشتی‌های عبوری امرار معاش می‌کردند. بقایای زندگی و آثار باستانی متعدد و متنوع از اقوام مختلف و جهان‌گشایان در این جزیره نشان می‌دهد که موقعیت راهبردی خارک در ژئوپلیتیک خلیج ‌فارس به‌عنوان دروازه میان‌رودان و خوزستان در مسیر شرق به غرب مورد عنایت اقوام بوده و رونق و جمعیت آن همواره تابعی از این متغیر مهم بوده است. در این راستا، استقرار هلندیان و انگلیسی‌ها برای تجارت و پیگیری اهداف سیاسی در دوران پس از اکتشافات جغرافیایی در این جزیره، جایگاه تعیین‌کننده خارک را نشان می‌دهد. علاوه‌براین، در برخی از دوره‌های تاریخی، این جزیره کارکرد تبعیدگاهی و زندان هم داشته است که تبعید زندانیان چپ به آنجا، آخرین خاطرات خارک از کارکردهای گذشته این جزیره است. خارک کنونی اما هویتی متفاوت پیداکرده است که وابسته به نفت است. پژوهش حاضر به‌دنبال یافتن تاثیرات صنعت نفت بر هویت نوین این جزیره است. نتایج تحقیق که از راه مطالعه اسنادی و کتابخانه‌ای به‌دست‌آمده، نشان می‌دهند تصمیم کنسرسیوم نفتی طرف قرارداد با شرکت ملی نفت ایران بر صادرات نفت ایران از خارک، هویت جدیدی به جزیره داده است. صنعتی شدن خارک به‌عنوان یک متغیر مهم در تغییر جایگاه جزیره خارک از شرایط قدیم به شرایط کنونی بوده و موقعیت این جزیره را در منطقه و جهان تحت تاثیر خود قرار داده است.

abstractkhark is one of the big islands in the middle of the persian gulf, where the limited inhabitants of this island lived by fishing, small farming and providing services to passing ships. and its population has always been a function of this important variable. in this regard, the establishment of the dutch and the english for trade and the pursuit of political goals in the era after geographical discoveries on this island shows the decisive position of khark. in addition, in some historical periods, this island has also served as an exile and a prison, and the exile of leftist prisoners there is the last reminder of the past functions of this island. however, the current khark has found a different identity that is dependent on oil. the current research seeks to find the effects of the oil industry on the new identity of this island. the results of the research, obtained through document and library studies, show that the decision of the oil consortium, the contracting party with the national iranian oil company, to export iranian oil from khark, has given a new identity to the island. the industrialization of khark is an important variable in changing the status of khark island from the old conditions to the current conditions and has affected the position of this island in the region and the world.
