چکیده    ﺑﺎ ﻇﻬﻮر اﺳﻼم و ﮔﺴﺘﺮس ﺳﺮزﻣﯿﻦ ﻫﺎی اﺳﻼﻣﯽ، زﻣﯿﻨﻪ آﺷﻨﺎﯾﯽ ﻣﺴﻠﻤﯿﻦ ﺑﺎ ﻣﺮاﮐﺰ ﺑﺰرگ ﺗﻤﺪﻧﯽ اﻣﮑﺎن ﭘﺬﯾﺮ ﺷﺪ. ﮐﻮﺷﺶ ﺑﺮای ﻓﻬﻢ ﻣﺴﺎﺋﻞ ﻣﺮﺑﻮط ﺑﻪ دﯾﻦ، ﺗﺄﮐﯿﺪ اﺳﻼم ﺑﺮ ﻓﺮاﮔﯿﺮی و ﺗﻮﻟﯿﺪ ﻋﻠﻢ، ﺗﻌﺎﻣﻞ ﺗﻤﺪنﻫﺎی ﻣﺨﺘﻠﻒ ﮐﻪ ﻧﻬﻀﺖ ﺗﺮﺟﻤﻪ از ﻧﻤﺎدﻫﺎی ﺑﺎرز آن ﻣﯽﺗﻮاﻧﺪ ﺑﺎﺷﺪ، ﺑﺴﺘﺮ ﻣﻨﺎﺳﺒﯽ ﺑﺮای رﺷﺪ و ﺗﻮﺳﻌﻪی ﻓﺮﻫﻨﮓ و داﻧﺶ را در ﺳﺮزﻣﯿﻦﻫﺎی اﺳﻼﻣﯽ ﻓﺮاﻫﻢ ﺳﺎﺧﺘﻨﺪ. در اﯾﻦ زﻣﯿﻨﻪ ﻧﻘﺶ ﺣﮑﻮﻣﺘﮕﺮان در رﺷﺪ و ﺗﻮﺳﻌﻪ ﻋﻠﻤﯽ ﺣﺎﺋﺰ اﻫﻤﯿﺖ اﺳﺖ. اوج ﯾﺎﻓﺘﻦ ﺟﻨﺒﺶ ﻋﻠﻤﯽ ﻣﻘﺎرن ﺣﮑﻮﻣﺖ ﺷﯿﻌﯽ آل ﺑﻮﯾﻪ، ﻧﻘﺶ ﻣﻬﻢ اﯾﻦ ﺣﮑﻮﻣﺖ را در ﺗﻘﻮﯾﺖ روﻧﺪ ﻣﺬﮐﻮر ﮐﻪ ﻣﺴﺌﻠﻪ اﺻﻠﯽ اﯾﻦ ﭘﮋوﻫﺶ ﻫﻢ ﺑﻪ ﺣﺴﺎب ﻣﯽآﯾﺪ را ﺑﻪ ﺷﮑﻠﯽ ﺑﺎرز ﺑﺮﺟﺴﺘﻪ ﻣﯽﺳﺎزد. ﻋﻼوه ﺑﺮ ﻋﻼﯾﻖ ﺷﺨﺼﯽ ﺣﺎﮐﻤﺎن ﺑﻪ ﻋﻠﻮم، ﺗﻮﺟﻪ ﺑﻪ ﻋﺎﻟﻤﺎن و در ﮐﻨﺎر آن ﺑﻬﺮهﮔﯿﺮی از ﻣﺴﺎﺟﺪ ﺑﻪ ﻋﻨﻮان ﻣﺮاﮐﺰ ﻋﻠﻤﯽ و آﻣﻮزﺷﯽ، ﻧﻬﺎدﻫﺎی دﯾﮕﺮی ﻫﻤﭽﻮن داراﻟﻌﻠﻢﻫﺎ، ﻣﺪارس و ﻏﯿﺮه ﻧﯿﺰ در اﯾﻦ دوره ﺗﺄﺳﯿﺲ ﺷﺪ. ﺑﺮ اﯾﻦ اﺳﺎس ﭘﮋوﻫﺶ ﺣﺎﺿﺮ ﺑﺎ روﯾﮑﺮد ﺗﻮﺻﯿﻔﯽ-ﺗﺤﻠﯿﻠﯽ و ﺑﺎ ﺗﮑﯿﻪ ﺑﺮ ﻣﻨﺎﺑﻊ ﮐﺘﺎﺑﺨﺎﻧﻪای ﮐﻮﺷﯿﺪه اﺳﺖ ﮐﻪ ﺑﻪ ﺑﺮرﺳﯽ ﻋﻠﻞ روﯾﮑﺮد ﻣﺨﺘﻠﻒ ﺣﺎﮐﻤﺎن ﺑﻮﯾﻬﯽ ﺑﻪ ﻋﻠﻮم و ﻧﯿﺰ ﺳﯿﺎﺳﺖﻫﺎی ﻋﻠﻤﯽ آﻧﻬﺎ و ﻫﻤﭽﻨﯿﻦ اﺛﺮات اﻗﺪاﻣﺎﺗﺸﺎن را ﺑﺮ رﺷﺪ و ﺷﮑﻮﻓﺎﯾﯽ ﻋﻠﻤﯽ دﻧﯿﺎی اﺳﻼم ﻧﺸﺎن دﻫﺪ.

   the scientific and educational performance of the buyid government and its impact on the spread of science

Abstract    with the advent of islam and the expansion of islamic territories, muslims became acquainted with major centers of civilization. efforts to understand religious matters, islam's emphasis on learning and knowledge production, and the interaction among various civilizations—exemplified by the translation movement—created a fertile ground for the growth and development of culture and knowledge in islamic lands. in this context, the role of rulers in scientific advancement is of great significance. the peak of the scientific movement during the reign of the shiite buyid dynasty highlights the crucial role of this government in strengthening this trend, which is also the main focus of this research. in addition to the personal interests of the rulers in the sciences, their attention to scholars, the use of mosques as scientific and educational centers, and the establishment of other institutions such as dar al-ilms (houses of knowledge), schools, and more, contributed to this era. accordingly, the present study, adopting a descriptive-analytical approach and relying on library resources, seeks to examine the reasons behind the various approaches of the buyid rulers to the sciences, their scientific policies, and the effects of their actions on the growth and flourishing of science in the islamic world.
