presenting a model for recruiting student teachers at farhangian university of west azerbaijan province
the present study was conducted with the aim of identifying the educational challenges of the alpha generation, which was applied in terms of purpose and qualitative in terms of data collection method and based on the data-driven method. the statistical population of the study included elementary school teachers in karaj city, whose statistical sample was selected using the snowball sampling method until reaching the sufficiency of 15 people.
the research tool was a semi-structured interview with a statistical sample. after conducting the interviews and preparing the texts, the data were analyzed in three stages: open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. the results of the study showed that the alpha generation faces three main educational, personality, and social challenges, each of which has its own characteristics and existential dimensions. educational challenges included the need for new teaching methods, the use of digital technologies, and learning time management. in the area of personality, problems such as reduced ability to concentrate, increased anxiety, and changes in communication styles were observed.
social challenges also include a lack of teamwork skills, reduced face-to-face interactions, and the effects of cyberspace on personal relationships. based on these findings, it is recommended that teachers, the education system, and parents provide the necessary grounds to support this generation by accurately identifying and studying the characteristics and challenges of the alpha generation. in addition, developing educational programs tailored to the specific needs of this generation and building culture among families can help increase productivity and flourish their potential talents.
also, providing interactive learning environments, strengthening cognitive and social skills, and providing stress management solutions are of particular importance. in this way, the alpha generation will be able to achieve a high scientific and social position by utilizing their scientific and human capacities and play an effective role in the future society.
