the present study was conducted with the aim of validating a knowledge-based curriculum centered on moral excellence. the research method was applied in terms of purpose and quantitative in terms of methodological approach. the statistical population included 293 professors from the faculties of educational sciences and educational management sciences in the field of curriculum planning in kerman province, all of whom were selected, experts, and had valuable scientific experience in the field of research.
these professors had at least ten years of work experience and had published relevant articles in this field. the sample size was calculated based on the morgan table as 165 people and was selected using the stratified sampling method. the data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire whose content validity was determined by the cvr index equal to 0.78 and its reliability by the cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.82, which indicates the high validity and reliability of the tool. data analysis was performed using spss software version 22.
the findings of the study indicate that the validity of the questionnaire construct was divided into four main factors using exploratory factor analysis. these factors are: content, outline, method, and assessment, each of which includes various components and indicators. the analysis of these factors showed that the knowledge-based curriculum with a focus on moral excellence was designed comprehensively and completely from various aspects and has the ability to cover the subject comprehensively. also, the relationships between these factors and their mutual influence in the curriculum structure were confirmed. these results indicate the importance of addressing theoretical and practical dimensions in developing ethics-based curricula and can pave the way for improving the quality of the education system.
finally, it is suggested that future research should examine the impact of this curriculum at different educational levels and its practical application, and that valid assessment tools be developed to continuously assess the quality of knowledge-based programs in the field of ethics so that training is more effective and targeted.
