بررسی تطبیقی واژه «گاو» در زبان‌های چینی و فارسی از نظر معناشناسی و کاربردشناسی‌

زبان اهمیت بسزایی در انتقال فرهنگ و واژگان دارد؛ همچنین زبان به عنوان یکی از مهم‌ترین عناصر، نقش اساسی و فعالی در حفظ و انتقال میراث تاریخی و فرهنگی یک ملت دارد. این مقاله مبتنی بر تجربه‌گرایی و عقل‌گرایی دوگرایش متضاد در معناشناسی و با استفاده از روش تطبیقی و توصیفی، واژه «گاو» را به عنوان موضوع تحقیق خود قرار داده است و با کاوش در چهارده فرهنگ لغت به مقایسه نظام معنایی «گاو» در زبان‌های فارسی و چینی به شباهت‌ها و تفاوت‌های این واژه از جنبه‌های کاربردشناسی و معناشناسی (کنایه، استعاره) در ادبیات دو زبان می‌پردازد. پژوهش‌ها نشان می‌دهد که کلمه «گاو» در فارسی بار معنایی منفی و تحقیرآمیزی دارد و بیشتر برای استعاره در مورد افراد احمق، ناآگاه از آداب معاشرت و ترسو به کار می‌رود؛ درحالی که در زبان چینی، واژه گاو استعاره‌ای از افراد قدرتمند، سخت‌کوش، لجباز لاف‌زن و خودخواه است. گاو در زبان چینی باستان نماد مقام و منزلت و در فارسی باستان نماد باروری می‌باشد؛ زیرا گاو از مفیدترین حیوان‌ها به شمار می رود.

a comparative study of the word cow in chinese and persian languages in terms of semantics and usages

language has a very significant role in transferring culture and vocabulary; in addition, language, as one of the most important elements, plays a fundamental and active role in preserving and transferring the historical and cultural heritage of a nation. this study is based on empiricism and rationalism, two opposing tendencies in semantics, uses the comparative and descriptive method to do research into the word cow, compares the semantic system of cow in persian and chinese languages, and looks at the similarities and differences of this word from the aspects of usages and semantics (irony and metaphor) in the literature of the two languages by exploring fourteen dictionaries. the studies show that the word cow in the persian language has a negative and derogatory meaning and is mostly used as a metaphor for stupid, ignorant of etiquette, and cowardly people; while in the chinese language, the word cow is a metaphor for powerful, hardworking, stubborn, boastful, and selfish people. in the ancient chinese language, the cow is a symbol of status and dignity, and in the ancient persian language, it is a symbol of fertility; because the cow is one of the most useful animals.
