نامه‌نگاری‌های فرانسوی_ ایرانی؛ رمان از آن‌سوی دیوار به‌مثابۀ رمانی نامه‌نگارانه

رمان از آن‌سوی دیوار نوشته‌ م.ا. به‌آذین در سال 1351/1972 با شگرد رمان نامه‌نگارانه روایت شده‌است. این رمان به‌‌دلیل تاریخ جهان داستانی‌اش، تلاشی بوده‌است از به‌آذین برای نشان دادن فضای کشورهای ایران و فرانسه در بحبوحه‌ وقوع جنگ جهانی دوم؛ گونه‌ای که نویسنده برای روایتگری‌اش انتخاب کرده نامه‌نگاری است. سوالات این جستار متمرکز بر مطالعۀ از آن‌سوی دیوار باتوجه به ویژگی‌های رمان نامه‌نگارانه، تعیین نوع الگوی نامه‌نگاریِ این رمان در میان انواع رمان نامه‌نگارانه و تحلیل کارکردهای روایت نامه‌نگارانه در روایتگری آن است. هدف نشان دادن قابلیت‌های این شگرد در هنر روایتگری است. روش پژوهش براساس مطالعه و تحلیل فنونِ نظریۀ روایت در رمان است. یافته‌های این پژوهش نشان می‌دهد نویسنده با انتخابِ پیرنگِ رمان نامه‌نگارانه برای داستانش به این کارکردها دست‌یافته‌است: ایجاد بستری مناسب برای بازگویی و انتقاد از وقایع تاریخی، سیاسی و اجتماعی دوران جنگ جهانی دوم و جامعه‌ معاصر خود ازطریق حذف صدای راوی و استفاده از شیوه‌ روایت ازطریق نامه‌هایِ دو شخصیتِ فرانسوی (با تعداد نامه‌های بیشتر) و ایرانی (با تعداد نامه‌های کمتر) که می‌توانند به‌طور صریح نوشته و خوانده شوند، شخصیت‌پردازی‌های متنوع، بی‌واسطه‌ بودن شناخت شخصیت‌ها، شنیدن صدای شخصیت‌ها صمیمانه و بدون دخالت نویسنده، تجربۀ دنیای درونی شخصیت‌ها به‌طورمستقیم، ایجاد کانونی‌سازی‌های چندگانه‌ی رویدادها و همچنین تصویر فرانسه و ایران ازسوی هر دو شخصیت‌، ایجاد و افزایش مولفۀ تعلیق و انتظار و همچنین امکان ظهور جهان‌های ممکن.

french-iranian correspondences on the other side as an epistolary novel

in persian literature, on the other side of the wal,l written by m.a behazin in 1972, is narrated in the style of epistolary novel. the present study traces the components of the epistolary novel and how they are used in the mentioned novel with a descriptive-analytic approach. the purpose of the present research is to investigate the innovative and effective functions of behazin's narrative techniques, focusing on his method of narration through the exchange of letters between the two main characters of this novel. the findings show that the author, with this special way of narration, simultaneously provides a platform for retelling historical, political, and social events during the world war ii, reproducing a documentary story with a critical attitude. additionally, the immediacy of knowing the characters allows the readers to hear the voices of both principal characters vividly and simultaneously, without the intervention of the author. since, in this style of novel, two characters write letters to reveal their state of mind, multiple focalizations express the events from the viewpoints of both characters. furthermore, suspense artistically enriches the story through the writing letters. letters create possible worlds, worlds that are made up of the beliefs, desires, goals, dreams, illusions and imaginations of the characters. using the method of narration through letters that can be written and read explicitly allows the author to express social -political issues, critiquing not only the society at the time of second world war but also his contemporary society.
