تعاملات میدان قدرت در فضای جامعه‌‌متنی درخت انجیر معابد اثر احمد محمود : تحلیل گفتمان

دستیابی به جایگاه قدرت در یک فضای اجتماعی، نیازمند مجموعه‌ای از «سرمایه‌های» گوناگون تعریف‌شده در آن اجتماع است. این «سرمایه‌ها» می‌توانند اقتصادی یا طبق نظر جامعه‌شناس فرانسوی، پیر بوردیو، غیرمادی باشند. یکی از انواع «سرمایه‌های» مهم در روابط «میدان»‌های اجتماعی «سرمایه زبانی» است. «سرمایه زبانی» به معنای مهارت استفاده از زبان و به کار گرفتن گفتمانی مناسب و منحصر به فرد با هدف تاثیرگذاری در ارتباطات اجتماعی است. اما آیا تنها با استفاده از «سرمایه زبانی»، می‌توان در ارتباطات اجتماعی تا آن حد تاثیرگذار بود که دست‌یابی به جایگاه قدرت در «میدان» یا فضای اجتماعی مدنظر ممکن شود؟ در این پژوهش در پی آنیم که این پرسش را در فضای «جامعه متنی» رمان درخت انجیر معابد اثر احمد محمود بررسی کنیم که در آن «سرمایه زبانی» در چارچوب گفتمان مذهبی برای کسب جایگاه قدرت به ‌کار گرفته شده است. ما در مقاله پیش رو، کارکرد گفتمان‌های منتهی به جایگاه قدرت‌ را در تعاملات شخصیت‌ها مورد بررسی قرار داده‌ایم. به این منظور، ما از نقد اجتماعی پیر بوردیو برای ساختارشناسی فضای «جامعه متنی» داستان و از تحلیل گفتمان دومینیک منگنو برای بررسی کاربرد «سرمایه زبانی» در گفتمان شخصیت‌ها استفاده کرده‌ایم. در پایان می‌بینیم که چگونه «سرمایه زبانی» در قالب گفتمان می‌تواند به تنهایی منجر به کسب قدرت شود.

power field interactions in the textual society of the fig tree of the temples by ahmad mahmoud : a discursive analysis

gaining power within a social space necessitates a complex interplay of diverse «capitals» defined within that particular space. the capitals can encompass both economic and, as posited by the french sociologist pierre bourdieu, non material forms. a pivotal category among these capitals is linguistic one. linguistic capital, according to bourdieu, signifies the skillful deployment of language and the crafting of pertinent and distinctive discourses aimed at influencing social interactions. however, the extent of this influence prompts the inquiry: can linguistic capital alone yield an impact deep enough to secure a position of power within a given field or social space? this research sought to answer this question within the frame of the textual society depicted in ahmad mahmoud's novel the fig tree of the temples. in this novel, linguistic capital is strategically employed through a religious discourse within the story’s “textual society», forming the basis of our investigation. here, we simultaneously engaged with discourse analysis and socio criticism to study the roles of discourses in the interactions of characters striving for power within the construct of the textual society of the fig tree of the temples. examining the structure of the «textual society» of the novel according to pierre bourdieu, we studied the discourses of the characters and their mechanisms using the discourse analysis perspective of french linguist dominique maingueneau. the study showed how how «linguistic capital» can on its own lead to gaining power.
