توانش ترجمه ادبی از دیدگاه مترجمان ادبی: واکاوی مضمونی چهل مصاحبه از فصلنامه مترجم

آموزش ترجمه چندین دهه است که در دانشگاه‌های ایران انجام می‌شود. برنامه درسی کارشناسی مترجمی زبان انگلیسی شامل درس «ترجمه ادبیات» است. با وجود این، در پژوهش‌های ترجمه در ایران، کمتر بر آموزش ترجمه ادبی به عنوان یک ژانر و گونه مستقل توجه شده است. با توجه به الزامات تدریس و عمل ترجمه ادبی، بررسی دیدگاه‌های کنشگران فعال در این عرصه از جمله مترجمان ادبی نسبت به اهداف تدریس این درس ضروری است. هدف مطالعه جاری، توصیف و واکاوی نقطه‌نظرات مترجمان ادبی حرفه‌ای ایران در مورد توانش ترجمه ادبی و اجزا و مولفه‌های این توانش(زیرتوانش‌های ترجمه ادبی) است. در این پژوهش کوشیدیم دیدگاه مترجمان ادبی حرفه‌ای ایراندرباره توانش ترجمه ادبی و زیرتوانش‌های آن را توصیف و تحلیل کنیم. برای این منظور، متن 40 مصاحبه فصلنامه مترجم با 36 مترجم ادبی شاخص دهه‌های اخیر ایران با شیوه تحلیل مضمونی بررسی و زیرتوانش‌هایی که این مترجمان برای ترجمه ادبی قائل بودند توصیف و دسته‌بندی شد. با تحلیل مصاحبه‌های این مترجمان ادبی، در مجموع 23 زیرتوانش ترجمه ادبی شناسایی گردید. نتایج پژوهش نشان داد که دسته‌بندی به دست آمده در این پژوهش بیش‌تر زیرتوانش‌های توصیف‌شده در مدل‌های پیشین توانش ترجمه را در بر‌ می‌گیرد و برخی توانش‌های خاص مورد نیاز مترجمان ادبی در بستر جامعه ایران همچون توانش تصمیم‌سازی، توانش سازگاری، توانش خلاقیت، توانش ذاتی، توانش عادتواره‌ای، توانش فرهیختگی، توانش احساسی و توانش فراشناختی را نیز آشکار می‌سازد.

literary translation competence from literary translators' perspective: thematic analysis of forty interviews from the translator journal

translation training has been carried out in iranian universities for several decades. the bachelor's curriculum of english language translation includes the course literary translation. despite this, in translation studies in iran, less attention has been paid to the teaching of literary translation as an independent genre and text type. considering the requirements of teaching and practice of literary translation, it is necessary to examine the views of the actors involved in this field, including literary translators, regarding the teaching goals of this course. the aim of the current study is to describe and analyze the points of view of professional literary translators in iran regarding the competence of literary translation and the components of this competence (sub competences of literary translation). in this research, we tried to describe and analyze the views of iranian professional literary translators about the competence of literary translation and its sub competences. for this purpose, the text of 40 interviews of the translator quarterly with 36 prominent literary translators of recent decades in iran were analyzed with thematic analysis method and the sub competences that these translators considered for literary translation were described and categorized. by analyzing the interviews of these literary translators, a total of 23 literary translation sub competences were identified. the results of the research showed that the classification obtained in this research includes most of the sub competences described in previous models of translation competence and some specific competences needed by literary translators in the context of iranian society.
