رمان راهنمای مردن با گیاهان دارویی اثر عطیه عطارزاده، اثری متفاوت در حوزه زبان و ادبیات فارسی است که در سال 1395 توسط نشر چشمه منتشر شده است. این رمان که بیش از سی بار تجدید چاپ شده، جهانی متفاوت از اغلب رمان‌های فارسی را به تصویر می‌کشد. با این حال، تاکنون بررسی و تحلیل مناسبی در رابطه با این رمان صورت نگرفته است. پرسش‌های اصلی این تحقیق عبارتند از: آیا می‌توان این اثر را با تکیه بر آرای ارائه شده در حوزه پدیدارشناسی مورد بررسی قرار داد؟ کدام یک از مولفه‌های تحلیل پدیدارشناختی مرلوپونتی بر این اثر قابل تسری است؟ چگونه می‌توان جایگاه تن، زمان و مکان در این رمان را با تکیه بر آرای مرلوپونتی تبیین و تفسیر کرد؟در این مقاله، با استفاده از روش توصیفی و تحلیلی و با تکیه بر آرای موریس مرلوپونتی در باب جهان ادراک، قصد داریم به بررسی تطابق مولفه‌های پدیدارشناسی مرلوپونتی از جمله تفکر مدرن، جایگاه تن، زمان، فضا و اشیا در این اثر بپردازیم. جمع‌آوری داده‌ها از طریق منابع کتابخانه‌ای صورت گرفته است. با مطالعه این رمان و آرای مرلوپونتی در باب جهان ادراک، می‌توان آن را در دسته آثار مدرن و در تقابل با آثار کلاسیک جای داد و با تکیه بر آرای پدیدارشناختی وی تفسیر کرد. عطیه عطارزاده، نویسنده این رمان فاخر، به تن، مکان و زمان با رویکردی متفاوت از آثار کلاسیک پرداخته است.
