چکیده
|
It is well known that in-cylinder flow is very important factor for the performance of si engine. an efficient way to overcome problems is to intensify tumble leading to increased turbulent intensity at the time of ignition. the enhancement of turbulent intensity will increase flame velocity and improve combustion quality, reducing emission and improving fuel economy. in this paper, the intake port design on in-cylinder flow is studied. cfd is more convenient, more economical, and more versatile to study the in-cylinder flow physics if its accuracy is validated with experimental results. a study was performed on a to find optimize intake port shape by cfd simulations. it is demonstrated that the increase in tumble flow, indicated power, turbulent kinetic energy and decrease wall film on parts of combustion chamber and uhc and co.
