تاثیر گسترش صنعت بیمه بر رشد اقتصادی کشورهای منطقه منا (طی دوره 2010 -1997) 

مقاله حاضر به منظور بررسی تاثیر صنعت بیمه به عنوان یک نهاد واسطه گر مالی بر رشد اقتصادی در کشورهای منتخب منطقه منا که شامل کشورهای الجزایر، بحرین، مصر، ایران، اردن، کویت، لبنان، مراکش، عمان، قطر، عربستان سعودی، تونس، ترکیه، امارات متحده عربی، قبرس، مالتا و اسرائیل می‌باشند، با استفاده از روش‌های اقتصادسنجی مبتنی بر شیوه تحلیل استنباطی و به‌کارگیری روش داده‌های تابلویی، تاثیر صنعت بیمه بر رشد اقتصادی کشورهای مورد نظر طی دوره 2010-1997 بررسی گردیده است. بر اساس نتایج حاصل از برآورد پارامترهای مدل ایهلان ملاحظه گردید که تمام متغیرهای تحت بررسی اثر مثبت و معنی‌داری بر رشد اقتصادی کشورهای تحت بررسی داشته‌اند. از میان متغیرهای تحت بررسی بیشترین اثر را بر رشد اقتصادی، رشد شاخص اشتغال نیروی کار داشته است به نحوی که افزایش 1 درصدی در شاخص اشتغال سبب افزایش در رشد اقتصادی به میزان 34/0 درصد گردیده است. همچنین افزایش یک درصد در متغیر آزادسازی تجاری سبب افزایش 13/0 درصد در رشد اقتصادی و متغیر تشکیل سرمایه ثابت ناخالص نیز سبب افزایش 08/0 درصد در رشد اقتصادی گشته است. افزایش یک درصد در ضریب متغیر حق بیمه سرانه باعث افزایش 23/0 درصدی در رشد اقتصادی شده است، به عبارتی اثر صنعت بیمه بر رشد اقتصادی کشورهای مذکور قابل‌توجه بوده و اهمیت گسترش بیمه در این کشورها تبیین می‌گردد.

The effect of insurance industry on economic growth in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries

AbstractIn this paper, we analyze the relationship between the insurance expansion as a financial intermediary and economic growth in Iran and some selected  MENA members countries  i.e.Algeria,Bahrain,Turkey,Jordan,Kuwait,Lebanon,Egypt,Morroco,Oman,Qatar,SaudiArabia, Tunisia,UAE,Cyprus, Malta in "19972010". A descriptive analysis method has been used as the main approach. Using an econometric model based on deduction analysis and panel data model, a  macro review has made on MENA countries financial markets variables as well as the position of insurance share in the capital markets and its relationship with the  their economic growth rates. The results show that there is a significant and positive relationship between the aforementioned variables and the economic growth among the chosen countries during survey period. We recognize that the most effective variable on the economic growth is employment. One percent increase in employment index had a 0.34 percent increase in the economic growth. In addition, one percent increase in capital stock had a 0.08 percent increase in the economic growth. One percent increase in total premium had a 0.23 percent increase in the economic growth. Insurance had a positive effect on the economic growth on MENA member’s countries.  The effect of insurance on economic growth has been considerable quantity.
