چکیده
|
This article explores the evolving role of teachers in modern education, focusing on the shift from traditional direct instruction to facilitative teaching practices. as the educational landscape changes, teachers are increasingly seen not as the primary source of knowledge, but as guides who foster student-centered learning environments. key factors driving this transition include advancements in technology, an emphasis on critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the rise of personalized learning models. through a comprehensive review of pedagogical models and case studies, the article highlights the benefits of facilitative teaching, such as enhanced student engagement, creativity, and autonomy. it also addresses the challenges involved, including the need for ongoing professional development and curriculum adaptation to support these new roles. the findings suggest that facilitative teaching is instrumental in preparing students for the demands of a rapidly changing world by promoting independent learning and critical skills. the article concludes by proposing strategies for educators and policymakers to effectively implement this approach, ensuring that students are better equipped for future challenges.
