چهار فضیلت اخلاقی متناظر در قرآن و تورات؛ بررسی ریشه‌شناختی و تطورات معنایی

متون مقدّس ادیان ابراهیمی در بسیاری از مفاهیم با هم مشترک‌اند و این در موضوع اخلاق به نحو برجسته‌ای نمایان می‌شود. این مقاله بر چهار فضیلت اخلاقی در قرآن و تورات متمرکز خواهد بود که افزون بر پیوندهای ریشه‌شناختی، به جهت کاربست‌های معنایی نیز به صورت حداکثری متناظر هم هستند. این چهار ریشه فعلی عبارتند از: بِرّ (ברר/ḇrr) «نیکی»، زکو زکی (זכה/zkh) «خلوص»، صِدق (צדק/ṣdq) «راستی» و طُهر (טהר/ṭhr) «پاکی». پس از مقدمه و بیان مسئله، مقاله متضمن چهار بخش، به ترتیب واژه‌های مذکور است. طبق یک الگوی تقریباً ثابت، ابتدا مباحث ریشه‌شناسی تاریخی ۔تطبیقی مطرح و از دورترین معنای حسّی تا تحولات معنایی واژه‌ها بررسی می‌شود و بعد از آن کاربست‌های معنایی مشترک - به ترتیب تاریخی - در تورات و قرآن آمده و در نهایت، در ضمن یک تحلیلِ معنایی پیوند آنها را بررسی شده است. بخش نتیجه‌گیری نیز به جمع‌بندی کلی، سِیر مباحث و برخی بایسته‌های پژوهشی اختصاص یافته است.

the sacred texts of abrahamic religions share numerous common concepts, particularly in the realm of ethics. this article focuses on four ethical virtues in the quran and the torah that exhibit not only etymological connections but also significant semantic parallels in their application. these four root-based virtues are: birr (ברר/ḇrr) goodness, zakah/zaki (זכה/zkh) purity, sidq (צדק/ṣdq truthfulness, and tuhur (טהר/ṭhr) cleanliness.following the introduction and problem statement, the article is structured into four main sections, each dedicated to one of these virtues. using a consistent framework, the study first examines the historical and comparative etymology of each term, tracing their evolution from their earliest sensory meanings to their later semantic developments. subsequently, the shared semantic applications of these terms in the torah and the quran are analyzed chronologically. finally, the article provides a semantic analysis of their interconnections. the conclusion summarizes the discussions, outlines the progression of the study, and highlights potential areas for future research.
