رخداد اُتوسفالی در یک راس بره: گزارش موردی

اُتوسفالی یک نقص نادر، مادرزادی، کشنده و ماحصل تشکیل غیرطبیعی اولین قوس بازویی است که به وسیله هیپوپلازی یا آپلازی در سه ساختار دهان، فک پایین، زبان و انحراف گوش ها به سمت خط میانی معرفی شده است. اطلاعات محدودی در زمینه منشاء این نقص در حیوانات وجود دارد که این اطلاعات از وجود ارتباط میان رخداد نقص مذکور و ژن های prrx1 و otx2 حکایت دارند. در یک دامداری نیمه متمرکز پروش گوسفند در شهر بسطام (سمنان، ایران)، یک راس بره زنده نژاد مخلوط بلافاصله پس از تولد مورد معاینه قرار گرفت. بره مورد مطالعه دارای هیپوپلازی دهان، آپلازی فک پایین، آپلازی زبان، آنوفتالمی و دارای شکاف کام بود. در بره مذکور، انحراف گوش ها به سمت خط میانی بدن وجود نداشت. بره مورد مطالعه 10 دقیقه پس از تولد دچار مرگ شد. با توجه به یافته های ثبت شده در طول معاینه، به نظر می رسد که بره مورد مطالعه دچار نقص اُتوسفالی بوده است.

occurrence of otocephaly in a lamb: a case report

otocephaly is a rare, congenital, fatal defect and the result of the abnormal formation of the first brachial arch, which is introduced by hypoplasia or aplasia in the three structures of the mouth, lower jaw, tongue, and deviation of the ears towards the midline. there is limited information on the origin of this defect in animals, which indicates the existence of a relationship between the occurrence of the said defect and the prrx1 andotx2 genes. in a semi intensive sheep farm in bastam city (semnan, iran), a live mixed breed lamb was examined immediately after birth. the studied lamb had mouth hypoplasia, lower jaw aplasia, tongue aplasia, anophthalmia, and cleft palate. in the mentioned lamb, there was no deviation of the ears towards the middle line of the body. the studied lamb died 10 minutes after birth. according to the findings recorded during the examination, it seems that the studied lamb had an autocephaly defect.
