   effect of kaolin nanoparticles on hydrate formation of ethane and propane mixture

چکیده    The use of gas hydrates as a new method of storage and transportation of natural gas has been considered in recent decades. according to the low speed of hydrate formation, surfactants and nanoparticles are used to promote this process. in this study the kaolin nanoparticles were selected due to their natural occurance in water at different concentrations to investigate their effect on nucleation and growth of ethane+ propane hydrates according to the results, the nucleation time was decreased with increasing of kaolin concentration. also, the growth of hydrate particles in the presence of kaolin nanoparticles was decreased in comparison to that in pure water. equilibrium experiments showed that kaolin nanoparticles alter the equilibrium condition of hydrate formation
