چکیده    The effect of a natural polymer, arabic gum, on thf/h2o hydrate formation has been examined in the present investigations. the experiments have carried out in a batch reactor under atmospheric pressure. induction time and growth rate of hydrate formation were measured. arabic gum has dramatically increased the hydrate formation nucleation rate at very low concentrations and at best (0.0625wt%), decreased induction time (delay time) by 8 times. because of the composition and properties of gums, it has been found that they can increase the bonding speed of water molecules to participate in hydrate cages. after all, in addition to promoting the thf hydrate formation rate, the most valuable property of this natural polymer is that it is edible and environmentally-friendly.
