|
The effect of zno and fe2o3 nano fluids on co2 gas hydrate formation kinetics has been investigated in this study. previous studies have not investigated the effect of fe2o3 nanoparticles on hydrate formation kinetics. also a new loading of zno nano fluid was studied in this work and gas uptake was presented. experimental results demonstrated that nano fluids are capable to enhance gas uptake about 10% compare with pure water. nano fluids has improved hydrate formation duration dramatically, in some cases to about 10 times much faster compare with pure water. fe2o3 nano fluids is more efficient compare with zno in lower pressures. fe2o3 nano fluids has shown faster hydrate formation and slightly higher gas uptake compare with zno nanofluid. at high pressure (37bar at t=301.15k) zno nanofluid has better output in terms of rate and storage. also it s shown that higher pressure gives higher gas uptake and gas uptake increase was proportional to pressure in all cases
