   a new multilevel converter based on cascaded connection of sub-multilevel switched capacitor inverters

چکیده    A new cascaded sub-multilevel converter is presented in this conducted study. the main feature of this converter is boosting capability with low number of power electronic components, so it’s suitable for photovoltaic applications. to determine the magnitude of voltage of dc sources, two methods are described. this multilevel converter is compared with other topologies in aspect of number of power electronic components and boosting voltage capability. according to this comparison, the proposed topology utilizes lower number of dc input voltages, power switches, diodes and capacitors. these benefits decrease the costs, reduce the size of structure and simplify the control circuit. in the rest of the paper, various simulation results by pscad/emtdc software are presented to prove the advantages of the proposed topology.
