تصفیه هوای آلوده واحد استخراج با حلال مجتمع مس سرچشمه بوسیله بیوفیلتر

صنعت مس یکی از بزرگترین صنایع ایران می باشد. در فرایند استخراج مس توسط حلال، محلول آبی حاوی یون های مس(pls) و فاز آلی(organic) که ترکیبی از استخراج کننده و رقیق کننده است با یکدیگر مخلوط می شوند . یون های مس جذب استخراج کننده می-شوند و به فاز آلی منتقل می گردند. این فاز فرار بوده و هوای واحد استخراج به این ماده آلوده می شود. فضای واحد استخراج با حلال این صنعت حاوی برخی از ترکیبات آلی فرار می باشد. هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی تصفیه هوای آلوده به این ترکیبات با روش بیوفیلتراسیون بود. بدین منظور از یک ستون pvc به ارتفاع 50 سانتی متر و قطر 5 سانتی متر استفاده شد. درون این ستون با ماده پرلیت پر شد و با نمونه ای از لجن فعال تلقیح شد. از یک محیط کشت معدنی برای مرطوب سازی پرلیت استفاده شد. هوای آلوده به حلال مورد استفاده در واحد استخراج مس به صورت سنتزی تهیه شده و به بیوفیلتر وارد شد، و عملکرد بیوفیلتر حاصل در چند دبی مختلف هوای ورودی مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. برای بررسی عملکرد بیوفیلتر در فواصل زمانی معین نمونه هایی از ورودی و خروجی بیوفیلتر گرفته و غلظت مواد آلی در آن اندازه گیری شد. در دبی های 1/0، 3/0 و l min-1 5/0 و غلظت mg m-3 2/1 بیوفیلتر قادر به حذف بیش از 80 درصد از مواد آلی ورودی بود.

treatment of polluted air from the solvent extraction unit of sarcheshmeh copper complex by biofilter

volatile organic compounds (vocs) constitute a major part of air pollutants. vocs are dangerous to the environment and some of them are odorous. biofiltration is one of the most important methods for the treatment of air streams with low concentration of vocs. the main mechanisms leading to the removal of pollutants in biofiltration are absorption of pollutants in the bed of biofilter, and oxidation by microorganisms; which results in the formation of h2o, co2 and biomass. unlike absorption, the bed never saturates with pollutants. copper industry is one of the largest industries in iran. the atmosphere in the unit of solvent extraction in this industry contains some vocs. the objectives of this research are identification of the pollutants, and investigation of their treatment by biofiltration. for this purpose, a pvc column packed with perlite and inoculated with activated sludge. a mineral solution was used to moisten the packing materials. the polluted air was created artificially. the performance of the biofilter was monitored under air flow rates of 0.1, 0.3 and 0.5 l min-1,with the entering pollutant concentration of 1.2 mg m-3. the biofilter was able to remove more column with the respective hight and internal diameter of 50 cm and 5 cm was used. the than 80% of the pollutants under the mentioned conditions.
