سطح آگاهی و ویژگی های حرفه ای فروشندگان گیاهان دارویی در زمینه عرضه و مصرف گیاهان دارویی

سابقه و هدف: در فرهنگ اسلامی و طب سنتی ایرانی گیاهان دارویی از جایگاه ویژه‌ای برخوردارند. آگاهی و ویژگی‌های حرفه‌ای فروشندگان گیاهان دارویی نقش عمده‌ای در تامین یا تهدید سلامتی جامعه دارد. پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعیین سطح آگاهی و ویژگی‌های حرفه‌ای فروشندگان گیاهان دارویی در زمینه عرضه و مصرف گیاهان دارویی انجام شد.مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه مقطعی به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس بر روی 130 نفر از فروشندگان گیاهان دارویی شهر مشهد انجام شد. داده‌ها با استفاده از پرسشنامه استاندارد سنجش آگاهی فروشندگان گیاهان دارویی جمع‌آوری گردید. داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌‌افزار آماریibmspss-22  و آزمون‌های آماری یو-من ویتنی، کروسکال والیس و اسپیرمن در سطح معنادرای کمتر از 0.05 تجزیه و تحلیل شد.یافته‌ها: 130 نفر از فروشنده گیاهان دارویی مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند. در مجموع 113 نفر (85/6 درصد) از عطار های مورد مطالعه شکایت های گوارشی و 111 نفر ( 84درصد) از عطار‌ها سرماخوردگی را به عنوان شکایات شایع مراجعه کنندگان به عطاری‌ها ذکر کرده بودند. میانگین نمره آگاهی فروشندگان گیاهان دارویی 4.98±26.84 و در سطح متوسط بود. 37/9 درصد از فروشندگان گیاهان دارویی اظهار داشتند که اطلاعات خود را از طریق اینترنت و دوره‌های آموزشی به دست آورده‌اند و 66/6 درصد از آنها از طریق منابع غیر علمی این اطلاعات را کسب می‌کردند.نتیجه گیری: برگزاری دوره‌های آموزشی و بازآموزی به‌منظور ارتقای سطح دانش در بین فروشندگان گیاهان دارویی، اخذ گواهینامه‌های آموزشی و نظارت دقیق‌تر بر عملکرد آن‌ها می‌بایست با جدیت بیشتری مورد توجه مدیران و سیاست‌گذاران بهداشتی و درمانی قرار گیرد.

knowledge level and professional characteristics of herbal medicine sellers regarding the supply and use of medicinal plants

background and purpose: in islamic culture and iranian traditional medicine, medicinal plants hold a special place. the awareness and professional characteristics of herbal medicine sellers play a major role in either promoting or threatening public health. this study aimed to determine the awareness level and professional characteristics of herbal medicine sellers regarding the supply and use of medicinal plants.methods: this cross-sectional study was conducted using a convenience sampling method on 130 herbal medicine sellers in mashhad city. data were collected using a standardized questionnaire to assess the awareness of herbal medicine sellers. the data were analyzed using ibm spss-22 software and the mann-whitney u, kruskal-wallis, and spearman statistical tests at a significance level of less than 0.05.results: a total of 130 herbal medicine sellers were studied. among them, 113 (85.6%) of the sellers reported gastrointestinal complaints, and 111 (84%) identified the common cold as the most frequent complaints of customers. the mean knowledge score of herbal medicine sellers was 26.84±4.98, indicating a moderate level of awareness. additionally, 37.9% of the sellers obtained their knowledge from the internet and training courses, while 66.6% relied on non-scientific sources for information.conclusion: organizing training and refresher courses to enhance the knowledge level of herbal medicine sellers, obtaining educational certificates, and stricter monitoring of their performance should be more seriously considered by health and medical policymakers.
