characterizing anchor ‎points‎ with utilizing elasticity measures ‎in dea

Th e concept of elasticity measures is an important concept in data envelopment analysis which can be utilized for obtaining various economic concepts such as marginal productivity, marginal rate of substitution and marginal rate of transformation. also, anchor points play an important role in data envelopment analysis (dea) and application. in this paper, we made use of the concept of left and right-hand elasticity measures to provide a basic definition for anchor points. this attempt led to a new and different definition for anchor points. our theoretical results are confirmed by an example.
