a new composition approach for the network dea

In the former network dea approach, the underlying objective is tomaximize the network technology efficiency of a firm and then, to decompose it intothose of its sub-technologies. this decomposition is done in two ways: either in multiplicative form or in additive form. while the multiplicative approach suffers from the problem that its network technology efficiency decomposition is not unique. to overcome the deficiencies of both decomposition approaches, we proposed a new composition approach in two-stage dea technology structure wherein unlike in the decomposition approach the optimality criterion is here to maximize efficiency scoressimultaneously.
