a review on herbal remedies for cancer treatment and investigating drug-carrying nanosystems

For centuries people have used the herbs for treatment. the records on medicinal plants date back to sumerian at least 5,000 years ago. in recent years there has been a great deal of research on the effect of plants on tumors. rising energy costs and chemicals, combined with environmental concerns related to conventional medicine make plants play an important role in the pharmaceutical industry and save the world from environmental pollution. due to the functional and structural properties of nanotechnology, this technology has a significant impact on drug delivery systems. nanosystems can increase the conductivity of the herbal extracts targeted to the site during the treatment period. new nanotechnology strategies could open a new era of cancer treatment shortly. the purpose of this article is to investigate the types of nanosystems combined with herbal remedies for cancer treatment worldwide and to propose a novel combination of nanosystems and herbal remedies effective in the treatment of this fatal disease.
