چکیده    The gas-phase hydrogenation of benzene was studied over a ni/fsm-16 nano catalyst prepared by impregnation method. the ni supported on mesoporous silicate fsm-16 showed high and stable catalytic activity for the hydrogenation of benzene at 130-150 °c.physical properties of this catalyst are characterized by n2 adsorption, h2 chemisorption, and nh3-tpd analysis. effects of the ni loaded and the temperature were studied on the benzene hydrogenation with a fix ni loading of 25 wt% the acid sites of fsm-16 and its surface properties play an important role in the hydrogenation of benzene. it is found that the optimal temperature for this process is 150 °c with the best conversion (100%), selectivity and yield (36%).
