   photodegradation of methyl orange in aqueous media by phosphotungstate-hexamine-nickel hybrid

چکیده    Polyoxometalates (poms) are a wide class of well-defined, early transition metal-oxygen clusters with enormous structural characteristics and multiple functions, which can make a significant contribution to the material development for catalysis and photochemical reactions [1]. in recent years, polyoxometalates (poms) have attracted particular interest in photocatalysis due to their strong bronsted and their structural properties [2]. in this study, the removal and destruction of methyl orange were examined with metal – organic hybrid of phosphotungstate -hexamine-nickel under sunlight irradiation. the effects of various experimental parameters were examined on the decolorization of methyl orange. the results showed that this water insoluble hybrid is a good photocatalyst methyl orange under solar light irradiation.
