   synthesis and characterization of silver supported on amine-functionalized nanoporous silica for reduction of 4-nitrophenol

چکیده    Nowadays, the different kinds of silica nanopours material are investigated as a green catalyst for organic reactions [1-3]. in this work, the nanopore of mcm-41 was synthesized and functionalized by amine group and it was characterized by x-ray diffraction and fourier transformation infrared spectroscopy. the silver (ag) was loaded on amine-functionalized mcm-41 by auto-reduction of ag ions. afterwards, the ag supported on amine-functionalized mcm-41 (ag/n/mcm-41) was used for reduction of 4-nitrophenol by nabh4. the result is showed that the yield of catalytic reduction of 4-nitrophenol by ag/n/mcm-41 is more than 95 percent within 20 minute.
