   synthesis and shaping mof uio-66 by solvothermal and extrude methods and compared with powder form

چکیده    Metal-organic frameworks (mofs) are porous crystalline materials constructed from metal cation or metal-oxide cluster as the node and organic ligand as the linker form an infinite three dimensional structure. their high specific surface area, volume and active sites both of on the node and the linker enable them to be used as catalysts [1,2]. over the past decade, (mofs) have been developed as a new class of composites [3]. but mofs powder form is one of the big problems working with them. although it is acknowledged that shaping processes can often affect performances in comparison to the original powder, the effect of shaping on adsorption capacities is rarely reported. also a key aspect to the realization of high porosity is the removal of guest molecules from the framework while still maintaining its structural integrity (i.e., “activation”). in the work, metal-organic framework (uio-66) was prepared by solvothermal method from zrcl4 and then mof uio-66 was extrusion. characterizeds mof (powder and extrusion) were abtained by brunauer-emmett-teller (bet) analysis, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ft-ir) and scanning electron microscopy (sem). in this exploration a new strategy was developed using from metal-organic framework (mof) for easy transport and high efficiency in various processes. also after the extrude process, a little changed surface morphology was observed for mof uio-66 extruded but pores were formed inside the sample extruded and the porous structure almost unchanged during the extrudate process.
