چکیده    During the catalytic cracking process, the complex hydrocarbons converts into light hydrocarbons. in other words, the catalytic cracking process increases the quantity and quality of the lighter and more desirable products and reduces the amount of the heavy and residual oil. in this paper, the effect of the catalyst on the heavy hydrocarbons and their conversion in the perforation section of the oil well was studied by cfd tool. the reactions were selected at 425 ° c and pressure of 20 bar. the simulated oil well was 5 and 0.5 cm in length and diameter, respectively and the three perforations was created at the bottom of well. the concentration of the reactants in all reactions is assumed to be 10 mol /l. the results show that, the reactants tend to sit on the catalyst surface in the perforation wall, and the reactants that are close to the catalyst surface tend to react and quickly become desirable products. therefore, the concentration of the heavy components reduces from the center to the peroration wall. according to the obtained results, the reaction stoichiometry, reaction rates and diffusion equations were the main factors affecting the catalytic cracking reactions and consequently the concentration profile of the reactants and products in the perforated section.
