   preparation and characterization of la1−yceyfeo3 perovskites catalysts obtained from different methods

چکیده    Double oxides are one of the two major groups of mixed oxides. perovskites are defined here as double oxides having perovskite (abo3) and related structures. because of their thermal stability and a variety of physical and chemical properties, which can be controlled by choosing constituent elements, they are widely used as catalysts as well as electronic and magnetic materials. this article reports the physico-chemical properties of lafeo3 and substituted la1−yceyfeo3 (y=0.05, 0.1, 0.15 and 0.2) were prepared by of oxidative precipitation and comparison of its performance with that of obtained from conventional sol gel combustion method. the prepared perovskites were characterized by x-ray diffraction, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy. the xrd results shows the crystallite size of perovskites prepared by sol gel was larger than those prepared by oxidative precipitation. characterization data confirmed ceo2 segregation occurred to at y ≥ 0.15 for both methods.
