   the influence of ambient pressure on mixed convection heat transfer coefficient of the human body: a cfd analysis

چکیده    This paper investigates the effect of ambient pressure on the human body s combined convective heat transfer coefficient. since a significant portion of the body’s heat loss occurs through convection, accurately calculating the convective heat transfer coefficient from the body surface is crucial for predicting individuals’ thermal sensations. the study examines the impact of ambient air pressure on the convective heat transfer coefficient at air temperatures ranging from 20 to 30℃ and airflow speeds from 0.1 to 1 m/s. the results indicate that air temperature and wind speed do not significantly affect the influence of ambient pressure on the convective heat transfer coefficient. additionally, the study finds that the convective heat transfer coefficient in non-atmospheric pressure environments can be expressed as an exponential function with a pressure ratio term exponent of 0.6. previous empirical studies proposed values between 0.5 and 0.55 for the exponent of the pressure ratio term. these findings enhance the accuracy of thermal sensation predictions and contribute to understanding heat transfer mechanisms under varying ambient pressures.
