چکیده
|
This study investigates airflow dynamics within a hospital operating room equipped with a laminar airflow (laf) system. a three-dimensional, steady-state, and incompressible numerical model was developed using the rans method with the k-epsilon turbulence model. validation of the simulation results was achieved by comparing numerical outcomes with experimental data and relevant standards, demonstrating close agreement. results reveal that modifying the central surgical light geometry enhances airflow circulation, improves uniformity in pressure and velocity distributions, and reduces turbulence levels, as indicated by a 30% decrease in the y+ value. these findings provide insights for optimizing laf system configurations to ensure better contaminant removal and improved operating room performance.
