White light-emitting diodes (leds) are broadly used in lighting applications due totheir advantages including long lifetime, high reliability, and less environmental impact. sincethe voltage drop at the two ends of each led is changed by environmental conditions anddifferent factors, so a constant voltage cannot be used to drive them and it is necessary toadjust the current to the desired value using current regulators. in this way, due to the constantcurrent of the current regulators, if under any conditions, such as temperature changes, thevoltage drop at the two ends of each leds changes, their brightness level will not change. onthe other hand, current regulators also reduce the efficiency of leds. this paper proposed anew led driver structure with adaptive reference tracking control. with this new structure, inaddition to driving the leds to a constant value, the efficiency of the leds is also improved.the simulation results showed that the proposed structure in addition to stabilizing the drivecurrent of the leds, it's efficiency is also higher than 93.5% in different duty cycles.
