چکیده
|
The use of plasmonic nanoparticles is one of the effective methods for controlling the spontaneous emission of a quantum emitter. in this paper, a spheroidal gold nanoparticle has been considered in the vicinity of a quantum dot and by using the coupled dipole approximation method, the effect of plasmonic nanoparticle deformation on its plasmonic resonant frequency and the spontaneous emission rate of a quantum dot, has been investigated.
